Your expertise in multiple architecture domains allows you to promote significant business impact and contribute to shaping the target state architecture. You will represent a product family in technical governance bodies, define and provide feedback on architecture governance practices, and guide evaluation of current and new technologies. Your role involves providing technical guidance to support business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors. Additionally, you will support engineering teams in code design, creation, and review with a focus on security, quality, reliability, and scalability. Your decisions will influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations, positioning you as a subject matter expert in specific areas. As a Senior Lead Architect, you will actively contribute to the engineering community by advocating for firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle. You will influence peers and project decision-makers to consider the use of leading-edge technologies and contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills include formal training or certification on JOB_SKILL concepts with 5+ years of applied experience, hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. You should be advanced in programming languages, applications, and architecture, with advanced knowledge of software architecture, cloud technology, micro-services architecture, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design. The ability to independently tackle design and functionality problems with minimal oversight, practical cloud-native experience, and the evaluation of emerging technologies are essential. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills include experience with Cockroach database, AWS or other cloud platforms, AI/ML tools for software definition, documentation, or governance, and modernizing legacy applications.
