Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax & Audit Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling Income Tax Returns (ITR) filing, GST return filing, and assisting in statutory and internal audits. This role requires a strong understanding of Indian taxation laws, audit procedures, and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities: Income Tax: Prepare and file ITRs for individuals, firms, and companies. Handle TDS calculations, payments, and returns (Form 26Q, 24Q, etc.). Liaise with clients for tax data collection and documentation. Assist in responding to tax notices and assessments. Goods and Services Tax (GST): Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C). Reconcile GST data with books of accounts. Maintain compliance with GST regulations and update on any statutory changes. Support clients in GST registration, amendments, and input tax credit management. Audit & Compliance: Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits. Prepare audit schedules, working papers, and reports. Coordinate with auditors and internal teams to ensure timely completion. Maintain compliance with accounting standards and audit requirements. Skills & Qualifications: Solid knowledge of Indian taxation laws (Income Tax & GST). Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting/taxation software (e.g., ClearTax, Winman, or similar). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
