Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient. Patient and Family Education: Providing information about health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques. Collaboration: Working as part of a healthcare team, communicating effectively with doctors, other nurses, and support staff. Technical Procedures: Performing tasks like catheterization, wound care, oxygen therapy, and specimen collection. Pre- and Post-Operative Care: Providing care to patients before and after surgical procedures. Escorting Patients: Accompanying patients to other departments for tests or procedures. Maintaining Equipment: Ensuring the proper functioning of medical equipment and reporting any malfunctions. Inventory Management: Maintaining an inventory of supplies and medications.
