We are looking for a SENIOR TRAVEL CONSULTANT to join our company to help us create and organise trips for our clients. You will be required to interact with our clients and guide them toward picking the best holiday package to suit all of their requirements. Your contribution will impact our company as well as the satisfaction of our customers and drive profits. Responsibilities Handle all aspects of corporate travel bookings including flights, accommodation, ground transport, and travel insurance. Develop customized travel itineraries and manage group bookings for business meetings, conferences, and events. Maintain travel records, prepare reports, and provide travel expense estimates when needed. Design, promote, and sell bespoke domestic and international holiday packages based on client needs and preferences. Provide advice on destinations, culture, weather, and travel logistics. Assist in booking tours, excursions, and activities to enhance customer experiences. Guide clients through visa application processes for various destinations, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Keep updated with embassy regulations and travel advisories. Prepare supporting documentation required for visa applications, such as invitation letters, hotel bookings, and itineraries. Arrange airport transfers, chauffeur-driven cars, taxis, and rental vehicles as per client requirements. Coordinate with reliable local vendors to ensure timely and quality service delivery. Act as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty. Provide prompt support in case of travel disruptions, cancellations, or emergencies. Maintain professional communication and build long-term relationships with clients and suppliers. Collaborate with airlines, hotels, transport agencies, and tour operators to get the best deals and maintain service standards. Negotiate corporate rates and contracts with travel service providers. Maintain updated client profiles and travel preferences. Process invoices, payments, refunds, and travel vouchers in coordination with the finance team. Ensure compliance with travel policies and regulatory guidelines. Use travel booking platforms (e.g., GDS – Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) and CRM tools efficiently. Stay updated on emerging tools, systems, and trends in the travel industry. Requirements Bachelor's degree in travel and tourism, hospitality business or relevant fields will be additional benefit. Prior experience as a travel agent is a bonus. Strong knowledge of traveling software and procedures. Basic computer skills and software like MS Office. Multilingualism is an advantage. Excellent communication and people skills. Efficient negotiation and sales skills. Up to date with domestic and international travel trends. Well read on the rules and regulation of tourism.
