Website: https://shivaenterprise.net/ Role Purpose The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution of multiple solar power projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget. This role involves strategic planning, team and vendor coordination, and direct client engagement to uphold quality, safety, and compliance standards across all project phases. Roles & Responsibility: Set up the SOP for site survey and design. Supervise the work of the design engineer for accuracy, optimization of design as per site survey conducted. Ensure BoM is designed to maximize cost-benefit to achieve LCOE while keeping losses at a minimum. Conduct site surveys before plant design and layout are finalized. Should be updated with the latest technologies in panels, inverters, structures, racking techniques, installation techniques, etc. Liaison with the Business Development Team to understand the client's requirements to ensure plant design & engineering is pre-approved and incorporated in the PPA. Execution: - Should have executed a minimum of 20 C&I/ utility projects across tin/ RCC roofs as well as ground-mounted projects. (At least 1 project should be 5 MW+) Inspecting field sites to observe, evaluate condition, the operability of facilities and structures, Collect field survey data, and measurements. Check drawings, specifications, and BOQ for allotted work; And report any deviations. Knowledge of state-of-art technical skills in materials & methods in the construction of large projects. Prepare defects/ snag list and provide instructions for rectification. Collection of data, analysis, and design of structures. Prepare daily, weekly & monthly reports as required by supervision and management teams. Formulate project baseline, monitoring, controlling, resource deployment, quality compliance & ensure satisfactory execution of projects. Guide project management, scheduling, planning, erection, and commissioning of the project within stipulated timelines. Managing contractors and vendors. Ensuring safety is given the highest priority during the installation and execution of the project. Required Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelors in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field in Project Management. Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in solar or renewable energy. Technical Skills: Proficiency in project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Sound knowledge of solar PV systems and EPC lifecycle. Soft Skills: Strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and negotiation skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure. Performance Metrics Timeliness and quality of project delivery. Client satisfaction and approval rates. Resolution of delays and lapses in project timelines. Vendor performance and cost efficiency. Accuracy and consistency of daily and EOD reports.
