Job Summary We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in electric vehicles, robotics, and industrial design. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in 3D modelling, simulation, and product development and will have a passion for driving innovation in mobility and mechatronics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, analyse, and prototype high-impact mechanical components. Responsibilities Design aesthetically pleasing models in terms on shapes, functionality, materials, colours. Render models for presentation and product demonstration. Work with mechanical teams in developing mock-ups and concepts for cost estimations. Lead mechanical design projects from concept to execution, especially in Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Robotics. Perform 3D modelling, simulation, and validation using tools like SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD and Ansys. Conduct Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis for structural integrity and performance optimization. Collaborate with R&D teams on product development, design optimization, and prototyping. Develop detailed manufacturing drawings, layouts, and Bills of Materials (BOM). Engage in cross-functional collaborations with clients, suppliers, and technical consultants. Apply design for manufacturability (DFM) and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) principles. Support sustainability initiatives including battery recycling and green technologies.
