Job Summary - We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated Mechanical Engineer with strong skills in 3D CAD modeling, drafting, BOM creation, and design documentation. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about working in a dynamic environment, capable of taking ownership of tasks, and confident working individually as well as in cross-functional teams. Knowledge of DFMEA, DFMA, and exposure to hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems will be considered an added advantage. Key Responsibilities - Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings using tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, or similar. Prepare and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure accurate documentation for production and procurement. Take initiative and ownership of projects from concept to production. Perform Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to identify and mitigate design risks. Apply Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) principles to ensure efficient production. Collaborate with fabrication, assembly, and testing teams to validate and improve designs. Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting activities. Work independently with minimal supervision, managing tasks and timelines proactively. Design calculations. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proficient in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks), PDM. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and material selection. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and willing to take on responsibilities. Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)Knowledge or hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or basic electrical systems. Exposure to mechanical simulations (FEA, motion analysis).
