Job Title : PP Flute Board Machine Operator Department : Production / Manufacturing Location: vijayapuram Reports To: Production Supervisor / Plant Manager Job Purpose : The PP Flute Board Machine Operator is responsible for the efficient operation of the PP (Polypropylene) flute board extrusion and/or cutting machine. The operator ensures high-quality board production by monitoring machine settings, maintaining standards, minimizing waste, and following safety protocols. Key Responsibilities : Operate and monitor PP flute board manufacturing machines (extrusion, cutting, trimming). Set machine parameters as per job specifications (thickness, width, color, GSM, etc.). Inspect raw materials and ensure correct loading into the machine. Conduct in-process quality checks to maintain product standards (flatness, GSM, flute height). Identify and report machine issues or abnormalities immediately. Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of the machine. Ensure proper labelling, stacking, and dispatching of finished boards. Maintain production logs and downtime reports. Follow safety and housekeeping guidelines on the shop floor. Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams for preventive actions. Qualifications: Education: Minimum 10th pass / ITI preferred. Experience: 1–3 years in PP flute board or plastic sheet extrusion industry preferred. Technical Skills: Knowledge of PP board machine operation. Understanding of GSM, flute size, material mixing, and extrusion settings. Basic troubleshooting skills. Soft Skills: Attention to detail. Teamwork and communication. Ability to work under shift rotation. Working Conditions: Shifts: Rotational shifts (Day/Night). Environment: Factory floor – exposure to heat and plastic processing fumes. PPE: Safety shoes, gloves, and face mask to be worn at all times. Salary & Benefits: Overtime as per company policy.
