Job Titl e - Taluk Manager Purpose of Job - Enrol farmers across the target region to take up agroforestry by enabling farmers in availing government schemes related to agroforestry, training and hand-holding them to ensure their success and conduct follow up surveys with farmers. Skills - Good communication and farmer networking skills, Sales experience: Prefer candidates with sales and marketing experience in rural areas - especially in agriculture related sectors (seeds, fertilizers, tractors, farm equipment’s etc.) Someone who has worked in watershed management projects/NGO’s working with farmers. Responsibilities- · Motivate Hobli and Panchayat level functionaries. Promote agroforestry amongst farmers across the target area. · Enable farmers in availing government schemes related to agroforestry. Conduct agroforestry trainings for farmers. · Identify successful agroforestry practioners in the region and enrol them as resource leader / model farmers. · Visiting farmers and guiding them to select the correct tree species for their farm. Hand hold farmers to ensure their success and conduct follow up surveys with farmers Job Location Qualification -degree in BSc Agriculture, Horticulture, Botany or any other related fields preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Experience: Field sales: 2 years (Required) Location: Malavalli, Karnataka (Required) Willingness to travel: 75% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
