Job Title : Industrial Electrician Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in manufacturing plants, warehouses, or similar environments, and will ensure electrical systems operate efficiently and comply with all relevant codes and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems including wiring, control systems, motors, and generators. Troubleshoot electrical issues in machinery and production systems using appropriate testing equipment and diagnostics tools. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings. Perform routine inspections to identify hazards or potential electrical problems. Maintain and update electrical system documentation. Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and safety standards. Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), and automation systems. Collaborate with maintenance teams, engineers, and production staff to minimize downtime. Test and calibrate electrical components to ensure proper operation. Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and electrical supplies. Qualifications: Diploma in electrical engineering, ITI electrician or related required; technical school or electrician apprenticeship preferred. 3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals. Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial control systems is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting, climbing, standing for extended periods).
