Job Title: Paint Quality Manager (NACE / BGAS Level-1) Job Summary: The Paint Quality Manager is responsible for leading and managing the quality control and assurance activities in the painting department. This role ensures that all painted Structural products meet the ISO, SSPC standards, company and customer specifications. The Paint Quality Manager develops and implements processes, quality checks, and improvements to enhance painting inspection and reduce paint defects. Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve painting issues, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions. Monitor and analyze quality metrics, identifying trends and making recommendations for continuous improvement. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the quality of paint materials meets company specifications. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of paint technology, equipment, and quality control methods. Provide training and support to staff on painting techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols. Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, outlining performance and improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferred Paint Technology, Quality Control, or related field (or equivalent experience). 10+ years of experience in quality control/assurance within the painting industry, preferably PEB or structural industry. Must be a NACE / BGAS Level-1. Strong knowledge of paint types, application methods, and surface preparation techniques. Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations related to painting operations.
