Job Title: Jeweler's Shop Accountant Company: Swapnil Jewelers Location: Surat, Gujarat Job Type: Full-Time Job Profile: Swapnil Jewelers is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations at our jewelry showroom in Surat. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail accounting, especially in the jewelry sector, and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting the overall financial health of the business. Key Responsibilities:- Maintain daily records of sales, purchases, stock entries, and other transactions.- Handle GST returns, TDS, and other statutory tax filings.- Prepare ledgers, trial balance, and financial statements.- Manage payroll processing, vendor payments, and petty cash.- Perform bank reconciliations and internal audits.- Monitor inventory and maintain accurate valuation of gold, diamonds, and other assets.- Collaborate with sales and inventory teams to ensure billing accuracy.- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.- 2+ years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in a jewelry or retail environment.- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and standard accounting practices.- Knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, and compliance standards. - Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills. Additional Information:- Travel Allowance will be provided by the company.- Competitive salary will be offered based on experience and skills
