Key Responsibilities: Design original fabric patterns and prints tailored specifically for hospital uniforms, scrubs, lab coats, and accessories. Develop scalable and production-ready textile patterns using digital tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate). Conduct trend research focused on healthcare textiles, including fabric functionality, antimicrobial finishes, stain resistance, and breathability. Collaborate with product development and sourcing teams to translate pattern designs into physical prototypes. Prepare tech packs, repeat layouts, colorways, and print specifications for manufacturers. Ensure alignment of all designs with healthcare regulations, industry standards, and ergonomic functionality. Innovate with fabric blends and textures that support comfort, durability, and sustainability. Maintain a database of designs, samples, and design iterations for future reference and collection planning. Requirements: Minimum a Diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field. Minimum 2+ years of experience in textile/fabric pattern design (healthcare or uniform industry experience preferred). Strong portfolio showcasing pattern work, especially for performance or functional apparel. Knowledge of textile printing techniques (screen printing, digital print, sublimation, etc.). Familiarity with fabric construction, weave patterns, and finishes. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and CAD software is a MUST Preferred Skills: Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or industrial uniform design. Understanding of medical workwear comfort and functionality needs. Awareness of antibacterial, anti-odor, and moisture-wicking fabric technologies.
