Location: Devanahalli, Bangalore Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Mechanical Project Lead to oversee and manage the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems across a variety of critical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with key mechanical systems such as chillers, cooling towers, pumps, fire protection systems, and HVAC, among others. This role will involve technical analysis, coordination with stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth execution of mechanical systems in accordance with safety, quality, and budget specifications. Key Responsibilities: Design and Engineering Support: Develop and review the Design Basis Report (DBR) and ensure all mechanical systems are designed according to the specified requirements and project needs. Review and approve Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) to ensure they align with design standards. Provide technical support in the development and review of system specifications for the mechanical systems. Tendering and Procurement: Lead the tendering process for mechanical systems, ensuring the scope of work and technical requirements are well-defined. Conduct thorough technical bid analysis and make technical recommendations based on vendor proposals. Coordination and Kick-Off Meetings: Facilitate and lead kick-off meetings for all major mechanical systems projects, ensuring alignment of expectations between all stakeholders. Collaborate closely with engineers, contractors, and vendors to review and finalize technical details for installation. Installation, Testing, and Commissioning: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical packages, including: Chillers and Cooling Towers Pumps (Cooling Water Pumps, Primary Pumps, Secondary Pumps, etc.) Compressors, Air Dryers & Air Receivers Compressor Cooling Towers & Pumps Vacuum Systems Dedusting Units Fire Protection Systems (Hydrants, Sprinklers, etc.) Utility Piping (CHWS/R, Compressed Air, Nitrogen, Domestic Water, Flushing Water, etc.) Water Package Dry Room Partitions with required AHU, Dehumidifiers, and Swit Units and Ventilation System Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Proven experience (6+ years) in construction management, specifically with mechanical systems and large-scale infrastructure projects. Strong technical knowledge in the design, installation, and commissioning of systems such as chillers, cooling towers, compressors, fire protection systems, ventilation, and utility piping. Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&ID, PFD, and technical drawings. Experience with tendering, bid analysis, and vendor management. Strong understanding of mechanical system specifications, standards, and codes. Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Familiarity with construction safety standards and practices. Experience with commissioning and start-up procedures for complex mechanical systems. Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Diploma Mechanical Engineering; technical school or vocational training preferred (ITI,NTTF,GTTC,CTTC & BE Mechanical). Minimum of 5years of experience programming and operating VMC machines. Proficient in CAD/CAM software, such as SolidWorks or Mastercam. excellent knowledge of clamping techniques and cutting tools. Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Familiarity with a wide range of materials and machining processes Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as Part of a team Willingness to learn new skills and Technologies

Role & responsibilities CNC VTL Experience operating CNC VTL machines. • Ability to work with larger swing diameter machines. (Ex; Swing Dia 1200, 1500, 2500mm.) • A working knowledge of inspection methods and measuring instruments. Especially more robust in large size instrument handling. • Ability of setting critical component. (Aerospace, Aerospace toolings, oil & Gas, Nuclear Projects etc.) • Knowledge of machining processes (turning, taper turning, thread cutting, canned cycles, drilling, grooving etc.) • Knowledge of cutting tools. (Turning insert, boring insert grooving insert, threading insert etc.) • Basic understanding of blueprints and engineering drawings. • Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks on machines. • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. • Basic understanding of 5S. • Ability to maintain accurate production records, including tracking materials and reporting any issues or discrepancies. • Troubleshooting and resolving machine malfunctions and tooling problems. • Ability to work in all 3shifts. Double Column Operate double column VMC machines and large VMC machines to produce high-quality components. • Set critical components for Aerospace, Aerospace tooling, oil & gas, and Nuclear projects. • Have knowledge of machining processes such as Milling, Drilling, Reaming, tapping, Fine boring, Thread milling, and Engraving. • Familiarity with cutting tools, including Milling cutters, endmills, taps, reamers, and thread mills. • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings accurately. Preferred candidate profile ITI, Diploma, GTTC, NTTF • Strong knowledge of machining processes and cutting tools. • Familiarity with blueprints and engineering drawings. • Basic understanding of 5S principles.
