Responsibilities and duties Work with other members of the IT team (particularly project managers) to create, capture, assess, and organize documents, recordings, images, datasets, and other artifacts Support development and implementation of IT processes as required Embed within software development teams to document new and existing features, user interfaces, and other aspects Support the development of training materials Edit deliverables from technical writers and other content producers Analyze content performance over time and make recommendations accordingly Skills and Competencies Ability to work with other high-performing professionals in a complex environment Demonstrated capacity to translate work produced by team members who have deep technical skillsets into laymans terms Organizational proficiency to serve on multiple project teams simultaneously Diplomatic skills in working with individuals and teams outside the IT division Deft editorial skills Basic document design skills Mastery of common Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with software development teams and how they operate Sensitivity to intercultural considerations Requirements/Qualifications 10+ years of editorial experience with high-quality, evergreen, in-depth content with a software developer or another technically sophisticated environment Superior written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet hard deadlines Excellent organizational capacity Status: Full-Time
