Job Description The MEP Draughtsman ensures the accurate design and integration of MEP systems in building projects, contributing to their overall functionality Key Responsibilities: Drafting and Design: Create detailed technical drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems using CAD software. Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate MEP systems into building designs. Compliance: Ensure designs meet building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date drawings and plans throughout the project lifecycle. Quality Control: Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and identify potential design issues. Site Visits: Occasionally visit construction sites to verify installations and resolve issue. Qualifications: Education: Diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD). Knowledge: Strong understanding of MEP systems. Detail-Oriented: Ability to produce precise and accurate technical drawings. Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying and addressing design issues. Communication: Effective communication skills for collaborating with project stakeholders. Experience: Previous experience in MEP drafting or a related role is preferred.
