Key Responsibilities: SCADA System Configuration & Implementation: Configure and implement SCADA systems for solar power plants, ensuring reliable automation, data acquisition, and remote monitoring . Develop, modify, and test SCADA software applications and scripts to integrate with various hardware and software platforms. Integrate new sensors, devices, and equipment into existing SCADA systems, ensuring seamless data collection and control. Modify and update SCADA display interfaces using Display Builder and Automation Builder as per system requirements. Configure alarms, trends, and reports for efficient plant monitoring and diagnostics. Validate SCADA data for various providers like Rhythm Automation, Adaptive Continuously monitor, analyze, and improve the performance and reliability of SCADA systems. Troubleshoot and resolve SCADA-related issues, communication failures, and system malfunctions . Perform routine inspections, software updates, and system optimizations . Ensure proper integration and communication between SCADA, inverters, Multi-Function Meters (MFM), weather stations, and other field devices . Communication & Data Integration: Implemented and maintained OPC DA/UA, Modbus, MQTT, FTP, and other industrial communication protocols . Configure data push mechanisms to the cloud using FTP, MQTT scripts, and telemetry solutions . Ensure seamless integration of SCADA with forecasting systems, remote monitoring platforms, and central data repositories . Address mapping and parameter mapping as required by SLDC for telemetry communication . Configure IP networking, firewall rules, and internet integration for secure plant data access. Manage network connectivity and data communication setups through ILL-managed/unmanaged lines, MPLS, VSAT, and other communication channels . Configure plant and SLDC-end IPs for secure and optimized telemetry communication. System Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that SCADA systems comply with industry standards, cybersecurity guidelines, and safety regulations . Create and maintain detailed documentation including system architecture, configuration details, troubleshooting logs, and operational reports . Provide technical training and support to operations, maintenance, and IT teams on SCADA functionalities. Required Experience: 2-8 years of experience in SCADA systems/telemetry , preferably in the solar power or renewable energy sector . Required Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science , or related any field.
