The ideal candidate will have strong experience in quality control processes specific to paints and coatings, including raw material testing, in-process quality checks, and final product validation. Key Responsibilities: Conduct and document quality control tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products. Ensure compliance with BIS, ISO, and internal quality standards. Monitor batch consistency and maintain product quality as per defined specifications. Operate and calibrate lab instruments such as viscometers, spectrophotometers, pH meters, etc. Analyze test data and provide feedback to the production team for corrective actions. Maintain QC records, batch reports, and inspection logs accurately. Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives. Handle customer complaints and support investigation of quality issues. Collaborate with R&D and production teams for formulation improvements and trials. Candidate Profile: Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Control in an industrial paint or coatings manufacturing company . B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry) or Diploma / B.Tech in Paint Technology or related field. Strong understanding of paint raw materials, formulations, and testing methodologies. Familiarity with ASTM, BIS, or other paint industry quality standards. Proficient in using lab equipment and analytical techniques. Attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of pigments, resins, solvents, and additives used in industrial coatings. Experience with water-based, solvent-based, or powder coatings is a plus.
