Our flagship solution is autonomous drone electroluminescence (EL) mapping—an in-situ, X-ray-style diagnostic tool that provides cost-effective and comprehensive insights into the health of utility-scale solar farms. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality services and cutting-edge technology to meet the evolving needs of the solar energy industry. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and proactive Drone Pilot in India to join our team and execute drone EL/IR/Vis inspection operations. This role requires proficient operation of drones and EL testing equipment to accurately complete flight inspections and data collection at solar power plants. The role demands data analysis and on-site problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to independently handle the full process from pre-flight equipment debugging to inspection report generation. Candidates must hold relevant drone pilot certifications, be adaptable to outdoor work and short-term business trips, and possess strong safety awareness and teamwork spirit. Responsibilities Prepare and configure drone inspection equipment on-site, including assembling drone hardware, calibrating sensor payloads, and debugging the system. Execute drone operations in accordance with predefined flight plans. Collect, upload, process, and analyze data obtained from drone inspections. Provide on-site technical support to project managers and inspection engineers, assisting in the resolution of various technical issues. Support the preparation of engineering documents, including drone operation plans, method statements, and risk assessments. Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership. Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of drone inspection equipment to ensure optimal performance and data accuracy. Train and guide junior team members on drone operation and maintenance procedures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Control, or related fields. Officially registered drone pilot, holding all required licenses and certifications issued by the relevant government authorities in India. Familiar with DJI enterprise drone equipment and control technologies; understand on-site safety regulations. Possess practical drone operation skills, capable of proficient flight and control, including beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) flight. Strong communication skills, teamwork ability, and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel long-term, as our projects are located national wide. With a strong track record and over 2,700 MW of operational solar capacity, ACME is at the forefront of India's green energy transition Role Description The Construction Head – Electrical for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of all electrical construction activities at BESS project sites. This includes managing teams, coordinating contractors, ensuring safety, and aligning with design, budget, and schedule requirements. The role demands strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, grid interconnections, and energy storage technology. Key Responsibilities: Project Execution & Management Lead and supervise all electrical construction activities for BESS projects from site preparation to commissioning. Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and SCADA teams to ensure seamless integration. Review and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and system layouts. Team Leadership & Coordination Manage onsite electrical engineers, supervisors, technicians, and contractors. Conduct daily and weekly progress reviews, quality checks, and safety briefings. Vendor & Contractor Oversight Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines. Approve electrical work packages and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained. Quality & Compliance Ensure compliance with national and international electrical codes (NEC, IEC, IEEE, etc.). Ensure proper testing (e.g., Hi-pot, insulation resistance, relay testing) and commissioning protocols are followed. Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) teams for inspections and approvals. Safety & Risk Management Enforce electrical safety protocols (Lockout/Tagout, arc flash, etc.). Identify and mitigate risks related to high-voltage installations and battery systems. Reporting & Documentation Prepare and maintain construction reports, test reports, and “as-built” documentation. Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred). 18+ years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 3 years in BESS. Knowledge of BESS technologies. Familiarity with grid interconnection standards and utility coordination. Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and electrical modeling tools. Solid understanding of SCADA systems, PLCs, and control architectures. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
