Job Title: Maintenance Head Location: Bihar, India Industry: Biscuit Manufacturing Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹80,000 per month Working Days: 6 days a week Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Head to oversee the maintenance operations of our biscuit manufacturing facility in Bihar. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise in mechanical and electrical maintenance, and experience managing a maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Note: Only candidates with experience specifically in the biscuit manufacturing industry will be considered. Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and supervise the entire maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective functioning of machinery and equipment. Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation issues in production equipment. Coordinate with production and other departments to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks. Monitor and maintain spare parts inventory to ensure necessary components are always available. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, cleanliness, and best practices across the facility. Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment to identify and address potential issues. Analyze maintenance data to optimize processes and reduce maintenance costs. Develop and manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective operations. Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to improve skills and efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field). Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role specifically within the biscuit manufacturing industry is mandatory. Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment, PLCs, and automation systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency breakdowns efficiently.
