Diploma in Fire Safety/ B.Sc - Fire & Safety, NEBOSH will be an added advantage. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Identify and assess potential safety risks. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and stay up-to-date with changing regulations and standards. Develop and deliver safety training programs for all the staff in the Hospital. Ensure staff understand safety policies and procedures. Plays a vital role in the Hospital safety committee. Facilitate safety discussions and initiatives. Develop and implement emergency response plans for code (Red, Blue, Pink, orange, Yellow, Violet & Black) Implement staff safety initiatives and best practices. Conducting fire evacuation Drills, Mock Drills under the leadership of Chief – FMS. MSDS data collection for chemicals used by all departments in the hospitals. Checking and ensuring of fire hazard and explosive material removal in hospital.
