Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Solar Projects (Odisha Region) Location: Odisha (Multiple Districts) Department: Sales & Business Development Reporting To: Regional Sales Head / Zonal Sales Manager Experience: 3+ years in B2B/B2C Technical Sales (preferably in Solar, Renewable Energy, or Power Sector) or in any sales department Language Requirement: Fluency in Odia (Oriya) – Spoken and Written is Mandatory Company Overview: We BHAI BHAI TILES & SANITARYWARE also known as ( Urjja one PowerTech LLP ) are a leading provider of solar panel-based energy solutions, committed to driving India’s clean energy mission forward. Our innovative solar technologies are deployed across residential, commercial, and industrial segments. To expand our footprint in Odisha, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Area Sales Manager with a strong understanding of the local market and fluency in the Odia language. Key Responsibilities: Drive sales and promotion of solar panel solutions and EPC projects in the assigned area within Odisha. Identify potential clients including households, MSMEs, institutions, farmers, and government bodies. Build and manage relationships with channel partners, dealers, contractors, and local authorities. Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations, proposals, and financial feasibility reports to customers. Lead negotiations and close sales in coordination with technical and operations teams. Monitor project progress from lead generation to installation and after-sales service. Ensure all government regulations, subsidy schemes, and compliance standards are understood and applied. Recruit, train, and mentor local sales representatives or dealer networks. Conduct awareness programs and campaigns on solar adoption at the grassroots level. Provide weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts to the Regional Sales Head. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field. MBA preferred. Minimum 3+ years of experience in B2B/B2C Sales, especially in solar, energy, electrical or any sectors. Strong understanding of solar project lifecycle and product knowledge Must be fluent in Odia (Oriya) – ability to communicate with local clients, vendors, and stakeholders is crucial. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel extensively within Odisha and work in semi-urban and rural environments. Self-motivated, target-oriented, and technically sound in explaining solar energy solutions. Preferred Experience: Prior experience in MNRE, PM-KUSUM, or state solar subsidy schemes Exposure to rooftop solar, off-grid/on-grid solutions, and inverter/battery systems Knowledge of local utility/discom regulations and vendor ecosystems in Odisha Compensation: Rs 25000 (including performance incentives + travel allowance).
