Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Developer with hands-on experience in the Insurance domain, particularly with InsureMo platform implementations. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs, alongside proven experience in insurance product development, including consumer warranty, auto warranty, and marine insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related frameworks.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs adhering to best design principles.
• Work extensively on the InsureMo platform, including product setup, customizations, and integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions within the insurance domain.
• Optimize SQL queries, manage relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends to continually enhance development processes and team knowledge.
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain a high level of attention to detail under pressure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of strong Java development experience, especially with Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful web services and API design.
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proven experience in the insurance domain General Insurance, Marine Insurance, or warranty products like auto or consumer warranty.
• Practical experience with InsureMo platform is a must-have including setup, customization, and integration.
• Proficiency in SQL, with solid knowledge of query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile development environment.
• Quick learner with a proactive mindset and adaptability to new technologies and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker.
• Insurance certifications or prior experience working with insurance technology platforms.
