Job Title :Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant (RTR)

Job Summary:-

1. Role Overview

The Functional Consultant (RTR) will play a critical role in the Discovery phase of a large business transformation engagement using Oracle Fusion RTR. This role will focus on analyzing, designing, and validating Record-to-Report (RTR) processes, ensuring compliance with financial and accounting standards. The Functional Consultant will collaborate closely with solution architects, technical teams, and business stakeholders to align RTR processes with enterprise reporting and financial objectives. This is a long-term program (2+ years) starting with the Discovery phase. Based on performance during Discovery, the role may be extended into subsequent phases through build, go-live, and hypercare.

2. Duration & Location

• Duration: 12 weeks (Discovery phase, with potential extension based on performance into build, go-live, and hypercare phases of the 2+ year program)
• Location: Onshore (US)

3. Key Responsibilities

• Lead workshops to capture business requirements for Record-to-Report (RTR) processes in Oracle Fusion.
• Document baseline business processes, Fit/Gap analyses, and functional requirements for RTR areas.
• Design functional configurations for Oracle Fusion RTR modules (FAH, GL, FA).
• Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to ensure integration requirements for RTR processes are well-defined.
• Support development of configuration workbooks, testing strategies, and functional design documents for RTR deliverables.
• Assist in validating RICEW inventory items tied to RTR functionalities.
• Engage with finance and accounting stakeholders to validate design decisions and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
• Ensure adherence to governance, audit controls, and change management processes during Discovery.
• Provide knowledge transfer and readiness support for subsequent project phases.

4. Required Skills & Experience

• Overall IT experience of 15+ years with 5+ years in leading Oracle Fusion RTR Deployment, 7 years in leading Oracle ERP (EBS/PeopleSoft) solution.
• Proven expertise in implementing Oracle Fusion (FAH, GL, FA) modules.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion RTR processes including general ledger, subledger accounting, and fixed assets.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion configuration, testing, and reporting in RTR areas.
• Ability to document, validate, and align functional requirements to financial and reporting objectives.
• Experience in managing RICEW validation and traceability for RTR deliverables.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Exposure to global ERP transformation programs focusing on finance and accounting.
• Relevant professional certification required (Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud Consultant, PMP, or equivalent).
