Job Opening For Design Engineer - Automation

Role & responsibilities

• He/she is responsible for:

- Understanding the URS of the customer

- The concept, preliminary design, detailed study, design, specifications, datasheets

- Procurement support

- FAT/SAT

- Hand -over

of the global (BMS) and dedicated (per technical installation) automation system as commonly used in high tech projects

• He/she has a functional knowledge of the technical installations such as ventilation, heating, cooling, steam, gas distribution, water treatment, power supply, safety, and security
• He/she has an in-depth knowledge of Building Management Systems such as server and central management system, operator stations, backbone loop, ethernet switches, communication protocols, etc.
• He/she develops together with the different discipline engineer the functional description and control philosophy of the different technical installations
• He/she generates together with the discipline engineers the P&ID per system with focus on instrumentation and control devices. Parallel the I/O list is generated.
• He/she develops the safety matrix and global safety control system of the project, including smoke detection, gas detection, leak detection, safety devices, alarm buttons, alarming systems.
• He/she proposes the interaction between the safety monitoring systems and the technical installations to assure a safe environment and appropriate alarm action plan
• He/she is constantly looking for new developments in concepts, techniques, and technologies in the field of automation
• He/she is responsible for the quality and conformity during the design and implementation phase
• He/she applies innovative technologies in a cost-effective manner.
• He/she works closely with the Discipline Engineers and the Project Manager
• He/she can support the testing and commissioning phase of the automation systems.
• Tender packages that he/she will be responsible for Automation, BMS, Security, Fire Safety

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 7 years work experience in Industrial Automation is must
• Work experience in Industrial project & BMS must
• Educational Qualification required BE Chemical / BE Instrumentation
• He/she demonstrates high communication skills
• He/she has practical knowledge of the software packages MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Project
