To prepare design detailed electrical BOQ, technical specifications, technical data sheet for all electrical LV, MV and HT equipment and ancillaries To handle electrical contractor, check & approve shop drawings/site visit whenever required Coordinate with other discipline leads, project management team and client for execution of EPC type power projects Electrical system modelling including grounding, load flow, short-circuit, and arc-flash analysis using standard electrical engineering software tools like ETAP, SKM, CDEGS, etc Protective relay setting development, calculation, and coordination studies Developing equipment specifications, procuring, reviewing vendor drawings and factory acceptance testing electrical equipment Preparing engineering cost and man-hour estimates and schedules Preparing/creating electrical deliverables like one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, interconnection drawings, equipment layouts, cable schedules, panel schedules, power, grounding, and lighting layouts for constructing/installation of new or modifications of existing power generating facility electrical systems Get involve in coordination with clients, vendors or management team To take instruction from Lead Engineer To understand the job activities, Project specific requirement and time schedule To prepare Electrical Design basis To make use of all relevant software available within the group such that the work carried out is cost effective and result in trouble free plant operation Perform in accordance with the relevant department procedures, company procedures Shall be familiar with all applicable specifications and other technical requirements such that vendors interpretation is verified Ensure man-hours and milestones are achieved for all tasks performed. Relevant experience in Electrical design in a consultancy organisation for Transmission and Distribution systems - Indoor GIS/Outdoor Switchyards, upto 400kV AC systems. Experience with Utility companies based in UK/Europe/Middle east will be preferred. Experience in Design of HV/LV Electrical Systems for Oil & Gas projects would be an added advantage. Conversant in Electrical design software Dialux, ETAP Computer literacy in MS office-and basic knowledge of AUTOCAD/3D Modelling Software like Revit is essential.
