Job Opening: Business Manager About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Business Manager to drive our business development efforts in the Green Energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a good background in electrical engineering and a proven track record in business operations & development, particularly in solar, Compressed Biogas (CBG), and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This role requires a hands-on approach to managing business operations, leading a team, and securing new projects. We are looking for a candidate with a strong inclination to learn and adapt to changing market scenarios. Key Responsibilities Lead business development initiatives to expand the company's footprint in the solar, CBG, and BESS markets. Manage a team responsible for the day-to-day operations and task management related to project development. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and manage proposals, RFQs (Request for Quotations), and tender submissions. Oversee project financial projections and possess a solid understanding of financial cash flows for business and project development . Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless project execution. Stay up-to-date with regulatory and policy affairs to understand their impact on business and project development. Qualifications and Experience Experience: 4-7 years in a business development or a similar managerial role, with a strong focus on the energy sector. Educational Background: Bachelors in Electrical Engineering + MBA (added advantage) Area of Expertise: Proven expertise in Solar, CBG, and BESS is required. Financial Acumen: Decent knowledge of financial projections and an understanding of financial cash flows for business and project development is essential. Adaptability & Policy Knowledge: Must have an inclination to learn and adapt to market scenarios and be able to understand regulatory and policy affairs . Additional Skills (Good to Have): Experience in investment, banking, tendering processes, and proposal making. Technical Skills Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project based softwares and PowerPoint .
