Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end design and development of energy-efficient AC induction motors, PMSM & BLDC Motors (single-phase and three-phase up to 55kW) Designing and Evaluating of Electrical Motor Design through Motor-CAD, ANSYS Maxwell, JMAG, etc. Application based on the customer specifications. Handle the Task of preparing and implementing the Engineering change request (Design Change Record, Drawing change Request). Perform the tasks of drafting and maintaining the technical documents for new products and existing products both electrical. Ensure compliance with standards including IS 12615, EN 60034-1, IEC norms and internal QA protocols. Guide the team in optimizing motor designs for efficiency (IE2/IE3), noise, vibration, heat dissipation, and reliability Collaborate with mechanical, production, and quality teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, robust, and cost-effective Train and mentor junior engineers in best practices, simulation tools, and design methodologies Support customization and design of special motors or ring-frame motors based on client/OEM requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field 8+ years of experience in electric motor design, preferably in AC induction motor development, PMSM & BLDC Motos Hands-on experience with motor simulation software such as Motor-CAD, ANSYS Maxwell, JMAG Strong understanding of motor topologies (single-phase, three-phase, squirrel cage, slip ring, etc.) Experience with designing motors compliant with IE2/IE3 standards If you are interested, please send your updated CV to this email id sumithra@liderconsulting.com
