Were hiring a Production Manager with hands-on spray drying experience in dairy, food, or nutraceutical powders. Must have strong plant operations, process optimization, and team leadership skills. JD will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
Role & responsibilities Lead and manage the Quality Assurance & Quality Control operations of the spray drying plant Ensure compliance with FSSAI , FSSC 22000 , HACCP , and other food safety standards Oversee raw material, in-process, and final product testing (moisture, solubility, microbial, etc.) Maintain all documentation for traceability, SOPs, and batch records Handle internal audits and coordinate with external auditors and customers Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) Train and manage a team of lab technicians and QA/QC supervisors Monitor hygiene, pest control, calibration, and GMP across the plant Ensure accurate CoA and label declarations for dispatch-ready products Preferred candidate profile B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech/M.Sc in Food Technology , Dairy Technology , or related field 510 years of quality control/assurance experience in food manufacturing ; minimum 2 years in spray drying or powder-based processing preferred Strong knowledge of food regulations , lab instruments , and QMS systems Excellent documentation, audit handling, and team leadership skills Ready to relocate or work full-time from Dhule, Maharashtra
Role & responsibilities Oversee end-to-end production operations to of converting raw fruits and vegetables to purees, concentrated, pastes and other liquid formats, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards. Supervise the use of machinery used in the plant Implement and maintain quality control protocols as per FSSAI and food safety guidelines. Drive R&D initiatives for developing new products and improving existing formulations. Manage raw material processing, yield optimization, and wastage control. Coordinate with procurement, sales, and management for smooth operations. Train and mentor production and quality team members. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors/Masters degree in Food Technology, Food Processing, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in food processing production & quality control (fruit/vegetable processing preferred). Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and FSSC 22000 standards. Experience in R&D for new product development. Leadership skills with ability to manage cross-functional teams.
