Job Objective: To manage billing, handle customer payments accurately, maintain records, and ensure a smooth checkout process for customers. Key Responsibilities: 1. Billing & Cash Handling Generate customer bills accurately through the POS system Accept payments via cash, card, UPI, or vouchers Issue receipts, returns, and exchange bills as per company policy Maintain proper cash register balance throughout the day 2. Daily Reporting Prepare a daily cash report and hand it over to the accounts/store manager Tally end-of-day cash, card, and digital payment totals Report billing issues or customer disputes immediately 3. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with the sales team and floor staff for product code or price clarity Assist customers in understanding their bills or offers applied Inform about ongoing promotions or loyalty programs at checkout 4. Documentation & Recordkeeping Maintain copies of daily sales reports, receipts, and petty cash entries File and store exchange/return bills as per store policy Support audit requirements by maintaining clean billing records 5. Customer Service Handle billing inquiries professionally and efficiently Maintain calm and politeness during rush hours Address and escalate any complaints or issues at the counter Key Skills Required Good numerical and calculation skills Familiarity with POS software and billing systems Accuracy and attention to detail Basic communication in English and the local language Honest, reliable, and well-groomed Qualifications Minimum 12th Pass / Graduate preferred Basic computer and billing software knowledge Prior retail or textile showroom experience preferred · Experience Required: 0–3 years in billing or cashiering (Retail/Textile preferred) Job Types: Full-time, Fresher Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month Benefits: Food provided Work Location: In person Application Deadline: 28/08/2025
