Sort jewellery items such as rings, earrings, pendants, bangles, etc., based on type, size, quality, and karat.
Inspect each piece for quality assurance—checking for defects, damage, or mismatched sets.
Identify and separate precious and semi-precious stones, gold types, and other materials.
Label items correctly and record sorting details in the inventory management system.
Ensure proper handling and storage of jewellery to prevent loss or damage.
Collaborate with the quality control, design, and production teams.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised sorting area.
Follow company policies and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in jewellery sorting, quality control, or a similar role is preferred.
Good eyesight and attention to detail.
Strong organisational and manual dexterity skills.
Basic knowledge of jewellery types, materials, and grades is a plus.
Trustworthy and responsible handling of valuable items
