Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Jewellery Designer

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualise and create unique jewellery designs (gold, diamond, and lightweight Jewel).
Develop CAD/CAM models and detailed technical drawings for production.
Stay updated with market trends, consumer preferences, and seasonal design themes.
Collaborate with factory and craftsmen to ensure feasibility and quality of designs.
Work closely with the merchandising team to align designs with business needs.
Maintain a design portfolio and digital archives of all created work.

Should be able to communicate with customers for their requirements and design them.

Preferred candidate profile

Requirements:

Minimum
3 years of experience
in jewellery design.
Strong knowledge of design software (e.g.,
Rhino, Matrix, CorelDRAW, Illustrator
).
Understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes and materials.
Ability to balance creativity with practicality (designs that are both aesthetic and manufacturable).
Good visualization skills and keen attention to detail.

Education:

Degree/Diploma in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
