Key Responsibilities

• 3D Modeling:Create detailed and accurate 3D models of jewelry pieces using specialized CAD software.
• Design Development:Collaborate with designers to conceptualize new jewelry products and refine existing designs.
• Technical Documentation:Generate precise technical drawings and specifications needed for the manufacturing and production processes.
• Feasibility & Production:Ensure the designs are practical, manufacturable, and meet production standards and quality.
• Industry Awareness:Stay informed about the latest jewelry design trends, materials, and techniques to incorporate them into designs.
• Collaboration:Work closely with other designers, bench jewelers, and team members to bring designs to fruition.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• CAD Software Proficiency:Strong command of CAD programs specifically for jewelry, such as Rhinoceros, Matrix, or JewelCAD.
• Technical Drawing:Ability to create clear and precise technical drawings and 3D models for production.
• Jewelry Knowledge:Understanding of jewelry components, metals, gemstones, and manufacturing processes.
• Creativity:The ability to develop innovative and appealing jewelry concepts.
• Attention to Detail:Meticulousness and precision are crucial for creating accurate and high-quality designs.
• Collaboration & Communication:Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas and work with a design team.
