As a Jewelry CAD Designer at our dynamic global team in the jewelry operations office, you will have the opportunity to bring intricate and detailed designs to life. Your role will involve creating stunning 3D jewelry models that align with our global design vision. You will work on a diverse portfolio of designs for international brands, showcasing your keen eye for aesthetics, technical proficiency, and passion for jewelry design. **Responsibilities:** - Create detailed 3D models of intricate jewelry designs using advanced CAD software such as Rhino, Matrix Gold, and JewelCAD. - Interpret sketches or design briefs/concepts to transform them into realistic, high-quality 3D models for design review and feedback. - Collaborate closely with design and operations teams to execute design briefs effectively. - Ensure all designs meet strict quality, safety, and manufacturing standards. - Stay updated with the latest trends in jewelry design, CAD technologies, and industry innovations. - Conduct quality control checks on designs for precision and quality assurance. - Prepare and optimize CAD files for production, including 3D printing and other manufacturing processes. - Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and tools within the team. **Qualifications & Skills:** - Proven experience as a Jewelry CAD Designer or in a similar jewelry design role, preferably within the jewelry manufacturing industry or working with international jewelry brands. - Proficiency in CAD software like Rhino, Matrix Gold, JewelCAD, or equivalent. - Strong technical skills and attention to detail to ensure designs are both aesthetically pleasing and feasible for production. - Basic understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes and designing with production in mind. - Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping technologies is advantageous. - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines. - Clear communication skills and receptiveness to constructive feedback for refining designs.
