Role Description We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable professional with hands-on experience in Sales and Operations of MW-scale Solar Power Plants . The candidate will be responsible for handling client interactions, supporting business development, coordinating with technical and execution teams, and ensuring smooth end-to-end project operations — from proposal to commissioning. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Identify and engage potential clients for utility-scale (MW) solar power projects (Captive, Group Captive, Open Access, and PPA models). Prepare techno-commercial proposals, presentations, and RFP responses. Coordinate with management for pricing, negotiation, and closure of deals. Maintain relationships with developers, EPC players, and industrial clients. Project Coordination & Operations Coordinate between clients, internal teams, and vendors during project execution. Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and compliance with quality standards. Ensure smooth handover from sales to execution teams and assist in documentation. Understand and support project financial structuring, land, and approval processes. Regulatory & Policy Understanding Good understanding of State Nodal Agencies , DISCOM regulations , MNRE guidelines , and Open Access policies . Stay updated with recent changes in solar policies, PPA models, and net metering/open access frameworks. Assist management in policy interpretation and its impact on business strategy. Documentation & Reporting Prepare periodic MIS reports for sales progress and operations status. Handle tender documentation, client correspondences, and approvals. Maintain CRM data and track sales funnel progress. Qualifications Sales and negotiation skills Experience in MW scale solar project sales Client relationship management and business development skills Knowledge of market research and strategic planning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in renewable energy sector is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
