The purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for Advanced JBoss Architecture and Internals, including Installation and Configuration, Migration of Jboss EAP to WildFly, JDK or Open JDK upgrade to use with Jboss and WildFly, Application Deployment and Management (Jenkins, CD/CI), Clustering and High Availability, Performance Tuning and Optimization, Advanced Troubleshooting Techniques, Backup, Recovery, and Patch Management, Scripting and Automation, Disaster Recovery and Failover Strategies, and JBoss Upgrades, Migrations, and Patch Management. Key skills required for this role include Jboss EAP, WildFly, JAVA/Open JDK, Apache, and Linux. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will also be involved in Team Management, including resourcing, talent management, performance management, employee satisfaction and engagement. Your performance will be measured based on Operations of the tower (SLA adherence, Knowledge management, CSAT/Customer Experience, Identification of risk issues and mitigation plans), and New projects (Timely delivery, Avoid unauthorized changes, No formal escalations). Roles and Responsibilities Implement and upkeep business applications and reports with a focus on high-quality service delivery and alignments to achieve department and organization objectives Participate in all phases of software engineering life cycle and troubleshoot technical problems as needed Design, develop, and maintain applications, infrastructure, and platform according to changing requirements and following established processes and procedures Develop well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices Develop and maintain web applications that integrates with Oracle database Convert existing C# console application programs to Java Develop new Java programs to integrate with Vendor APIs using REST API Develop SQL queries for Oracle database Ready, willing, and able to pick up new technologies and pitch in on story tasks (design, code, test, CI/CD, deploy, etc.) Organizes the work assignments of key technical projects and communicates to all project participants concisely, leveraging JIRA Conducts peer code-reviews and provides feedback to team members Uphold technology best practices with a sense of autonomy, creativity, and open feedback for continuous improvement Perform ongoing system and application administration Supports production issues with proper diagnosis and root cause analysis Providing SME support to L1 support team and tracking issues, working with vendor and closing them Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business partners, vendors, counterparties, and other IT teams Working with different teams for system vulnerability remediation and addressing EOL Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; quickly learn from existing documentation and with minimal guidance; execute with limited information and ambiguity

Role & responsibilities Strong experience with J2EE , Java 8+ (knowledge of Java 11/17 is a plus). Proficient in Spring Framework , Spring Boot , Hibernate/JPA . Experience in building and consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs. Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture . Experience with Maven/Gradle , Junit/TestNG , Log4j/SLF4J , etc. Proficiency in JavaScript , HTML5 , CSS3 , TypeScript . Experience with modern frameworks like Angular , ReactJS , or Vue.js . Strong knowledge of Oracle , PostgreSQL or MySQL . Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) is a plus.
