The Engineer- Maintenance at KEC International in Jabalpur is responsible for all the primary operational works in the fabrication process. The key accountabilities include daily reviewing of the plant, ensuring engagement of machines, monitoring daily operations, and keeping track of the run time and output of the machines. The role also requires proficiency in maintenance and system operations of CNC, welding, and notching machines. The Engineer- Maintenance will interact with internal customers such as the Manager (Galvanisation), Manager (Materials), Planning Department, and Manager (Finish yard). External customer interactions are not required for this role. The job demands abilities like persuasive communication, decision-making, relationship building, teamwork, and adaptability. Essential skills and expertise for this role include a comprehensive understanding of JDE software, as well as strong oral and written communication skills. The role requires 3-5 years of relevant work experience and a Diploma qualification. Travel for this role is occasional, accounting for less than 10% of the time.
