Role & responsibilities Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with insurance companies, brokers, and key stakeholders to drive business growth. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals to achieve sales targets. Key Account Management: Develop and manage key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering business from new key accounts and repeat business from existing key accounts. Industry Representation: Represent JCG Surveyors at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients. Proposals and Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and service agreements tailored to client needs. Client Onboarding: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes in the insurance and banking sectors. Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed sales and revenue targets through proactive and strategic efforts. Reporting: Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics to senior management. Preferred candidate profile Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in business development, with a focus on managing relationships with key clients in the BFSI domain. Experience in the insurance industry is an added advantage. Education: Graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is preferred but not mandatory. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively. Presentation Skills: Strong ability to create and deliver impactful presentations and proposals tailored to client needs. Target-Driven Mindset: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment. Account Management: Proven expertise in developing and managing key accounts to ensure long-term client satisfaction and growth. Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance, loss adjusting, or surveying services is an advantage.
