Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview The Drive Works Engineer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing automation tools using DriveWorks to improve efficiency in design processes. This role requires strong knowledge of SolidWorks, parametric modelling, and design automation concepts, with a focus on customization and client-specific solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop, configure, and deploy Drive Works automation solutions for SolidWorks-based projects. Create and maintain design rules, forms, logic, and workflows within Drive Works. Automate repetitive design tasks to reduce engineering hours and errors. Collaborate with design teams to understand requirements and translate them into Drive Works solutions. Integrate Drive Works with CAD, ERP, and PDM systems as needed. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Drive Works setups. Document processes, configurations, and user manuals for project teams. Train engineers and designers on using Drive Works automation. Work closely with clients to gather requirements and deliver customized automated solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in design automation and SolidWorks customization. Hands-on expertise in Drive Works Solo/Pro . Strong knowledge of parametric modelling in SolidWorks. Experience in CAD automation, rules-based configuration, or CPQ systems. Familiarity with macros, VBA, or API programming.
