Role Description This is a full-time, on-site AutoCAD Drafter role located in Bengaluru at Jay Constructions and Consultants. The Autocad Drafter will be responsible for creating technical drawings, shop drawings, architectural drawings, and general drafting tasks related to architecture. Qualifications Technical Drawing and Architectural Drawing skills Experience in creating Shop Drawings Proficiency in AutoCAD or ZWCAD software A degree in Architecture or related field Attention to detail and accuracy in drawing creation Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Experience in the construction industry is a plus Basic knowledge in residential building requirements as the job requires to communicate with the clients for their requirements.

Key Responsibilities Develop cost-efficient design layouts based on construction requirements and client specifications. Create conceptual designs both from client briefs and from scratch. Prepare 3D models and CAD drawings for approvals and submissions. Ensure compliance with standard design protocols and procedures. Analyze and resolve design-related issues with effective solutions. Conduct structural and civil calculations in line with project needs. Estimate construction costs and material requirements accurately. Perform field surveys and site investigations to support design accuracy. Assess project feasibility by reviewing plans and identifying constraints. Utilize modern software tools and technology to enhance design output. Maintain organized and up-to-date design documentation. Incorporate health, safety, and environmental considerations in designs. Manage design projects within deadlines and allocated budgets. Implement design modifications as project needs evolve. Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in civil design.
