Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking aSenior Backend Developer (6-9 years) with deep expertise inJava, Spring Boot, Microservices, andhands-on exposure to Kotlin. The candidate must be flexible to work in Kotlin and should be comfortable taking ownership of backend systems, ensuring scalability, high performance, and robustness, while remaining actively hands-on with coding and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on design, development, and deliveryof backend services and APIs usingJava 8+/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Microservices.
Write clean, testable, and efficient code along withunit and integration tests.
Contribute tosystem design discussionsand propose scalable, high-performance solutions.

Contribute to QA: unit testing, integration testing, and supporting QA activities

Work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) efficiently.
Package and deploy applications usingDocker & KubernetesonAzure or AWS.
Implement monitoring, logging, and performance tuning of backend services.

Monitoring and observability skills for distributed environment

Integratemessaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)andcaching frameworks (Redis).
Automate deployments and provisioning usingTerraform or similar tools.
Participate incode reviews, technical discussions, and set best practices for the team.
Mentor junior developers while remaining actively involved incoding and delivery.

Qualifikationen

Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
6-9 years of backend development experience withJavaand exposure toKotlin.
Proven flexibility and willingness towork extensively in Kotlin.
Strong problem-solving and performance optimization skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience inevent-driven architectures.
Strong exposure toDevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Awareness ofcloud-native design patternsand security best practices.
