As a Senior Full Stack Developer specializing in e-commerce, you will be responsible for working across the full stack to build highly scalable distributed solutions that enhance user experiences and drive business growth. Your role will involve developing new features and infrastructure to meet evolving business needs, taking leadership of new projects from inception to deployment, and ensuring application performance, uptime, and scalability while upholding high standards of code quality and application design. You will work with agile development methodologies, adhere to best practices, and actively seek opportunities for continued learning and improvement. Your responsibilities will include participating in all aspects of agile software development, such as design, implementation, and deployment. You will be tasked with architecting and providing guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale. Your primary technologies will include Ruby, Java/JRuby, React, and JavaScript. Collaboration with designers, front-end engineers, and back-end engineers will be essential in creating reliable APIs and delivering high-quality solutions. Communication and collaboration across time zones will be facilitated through tools like Slack, GitHub comments, documents, and video conferences. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of one year of experience in building large-scale software applications and web applications. Proficiency in designing and integrating RESTful APIs is essential, along with knowledge of Ruby, Core Java/JRuby, React, and JavaScript. Strong debugging and optimization skills, as well as experience in unit/integration testing, will be advantageous.
