Java Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and resilient microservices using

  Java

  and

  Spring Boot

  .
• Develop and maintain

  BDD test frameworks

  using Cucumber or similar tools.
• Perform

  manual API testing

  , functional validation, and end-to-end test coverage.
• Conduct

  performance testing

  using tools such as

  JMeter

  or

  BlazeMeter

  .
• Implement and maintain AWS-based cloud solutions with strong focus on performance, security, and scalability.
  
• Work on

  Kafka-based integration

  for real-time event streaming in microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define, design, and deliver high-quality features.
  
• Own and contribute to all phases of the software lifecycledesign, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  
• Use monitoring tools to track system health and optimize performance.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently to maintain optimal system performance.
  
• Continuously learn and adopt modern engineering practices, tools, and industry trends.
  
• Contribute as a

  Java Full Stack Developer

  as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  

• 8+ years

  of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Strong expertise in

  BDD

  ,

  Cucumber

  , API testing, and automation frameworks.
• Experience with performance testing, concepts, and metrics (load, stress, scalability).
  
• Hands-on experience with

  Postman

  ,

  Bruno

  , or similar API testing tools.
• Familiarity with

  Java

  or

  Groovy

  for scripting and test automation.
• Working knowledge of

  AWS

  ,

  Kafka

  , and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
