You will be joining a fast-growing fintech organization as a Tech Lead - Java Backend Developer. Your role will involve leading a team of backend engineers to design, develop, and implement high-quality, scalable, and high-performance software solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing architectural direction, design reviews, and coding guidance to the backend development team. - Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions. - Designing and developing scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs. - Implementing event-driven architecture and real-time data processing using Apache Kafka. - Utilizing Redis for caching, session management, and performance optimization. - Conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers to ensure adherence to coding standards and clean code principles. - Managing project timelines and deliverables while collaborating closely with QA, DevOps, and product teams. - Staying updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advocating for their adoption. Key Skills and Requirements for this role include: - Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST API development. - Hands-on experience with Kafka (or similar messaging platforms) and Redis. - Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases. - Solid understanding of backend architecture, scalability, and performance optimization. - Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring development teams. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Location: Thane Work Mode: 5 days Work from Office - Alternate Saturday working Experience: 8+ years in backend development, with at least 2+ years in a lead role.
