Java Specialist

Key Responsibilities

1. Application Development

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust Java-based applications.
  
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
  
• Implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
  
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
  

2. System Design & Architecture

• Contribute to system architecture discussions and technical design.
  
• Assist in designing scalable and distributed systems.
  
• Implement messaging solutions using Kafka for event-driven architecture.
  
• Work with microservices-based architecture patterns.
  

3. Performance Optimization

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  
• Perform JVM tuning and memory optimization.
  
• Optimize SQL queries and improve application throughput.
  
• Conduct load testing and performance benchmarking.
  

4. Cloud & DevOps Collaboration

• Deploy and manage applications on AWS or GCP.
  
• Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
  
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for containerization (Docker/Kubernetes preferred).
  
• Monitor application health and logs using monitoring tools.
  

5. Maintenance & Support

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
  
• Ensure application security and data protection compliance.
  
• Provide technical support and documentation.
  

6. Collaboration & Mentorship

• Work closely with product managers, QA, and frontend teams.
  
• Guide junior developers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  
• Stay updated with emerging Java ecosystem technologies.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
  
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
  
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
