The key aspects of this role: Mandatory: Experience in testing software applications/packages in the banking domain Strong on automation tools (Java-Selenium) Good SQL knowledge Strong knowledge of payments domain Good To Have: Familiarity with deployment of web applications Experience in web service testing using Soap UI tool Domain knowledge of ACH/NACHA Roles and Responsibilites: Validate end-to-end payment flows (ACH, NACHA, SWIFT, CHAPS, SEPA, Fedwire), from initiation through settlement Design and execute functional, regression, and integration test cases for banking and payment applications Develop and maintain Selenium-Java automated test scripts for UI and API regression suites Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins) to accelerate release cycles Perform SOAP/REST API testing using SoapUI, Postman, or REST Assuredvalidate payloads, headers, auth, and error handling Write and run SQL queries (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) to verify backend data integrity and perform transaction reconciliation Log, triage, and track defects in JIRA; participate in agile ceremonies and sprint reviews Produce and maintain test artifacts: test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and summary reports Support UAT and collaborate with clients for test case walkthroughs, production validations, and post-release issue resolution Shift details: Normal IST Shift, with need to work till 8/9 PM as per Client Needs.
