QA Automation Engineer (Cypress JavaScript/TypeScript) Job Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated QA Automation Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in Cypress using JavaScript/TypeScript , along with a strong foundation in web technologies and API testing . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and a passion for delivering high-quality software. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts using Cypress with JavaScript/TypeScript Perform thorough UI automation testing by utilising a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and DOM structure Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Cypress's built-in API commands Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define comprehensive test strategies Investigate and debug test failures, document defects clearly, and follow through to resolution Maintain and improve automation frameworks and test environments to support scalable testing Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript Good understanding of HTML, CSS , and DOM Proficient in API testing using Postman or Cypress Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Solid communication skills to collaborate across teams Experience working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions (mandatory) Familiarity with Git or other version control systems Why Join Us?
