As a Java/Node.js Engineer at our IT Company in Warangal, you will play a crucial role in enhancing application security by remediating vulnerabilities and reducing technical debt. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing, triaging, and remediating vulnerabilities across Java, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, and WordPress applications using tools like SonarQube, Veracode, Checkmarx, Snyk, and OWASP ZAP. - Refactoring insecure codebases to address issues such as SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, authentication flaws, and more. - Patching and upgrading vulnerable third-party dependencies like Maven, npm, and Composer. - Securing configurations of APIs, services, frameworks, and environments to prevent vulnerabilities. - Integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines and developing AI-driven security workflows with platforms like AWS Bedrock. - Identifying and resolving legacy security issues, modernizing components, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices. Your qualifications should include: - Hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and secure coding practices. - Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript. - Exposure to Ruby on Rails and WordPress for vulnerability remediation and secure configuration. - Strong understanding of application vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques. - Familiarity with scanning tools like Veracode, Checkmarx, SonarQube, and Snyk. - Knowledge of OAuth2/JWT, encryption, session management, and API security. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux hardening, and AWS cloud security. - Familiarity with Generative AI platforms like AWS Bedrock for security workflows. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated security integration.
