Java Lead/SME

As a Java Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 8 to 12 years of experience in software development, including at least 8 years in software engineering or related roles and 3-5 years in a senior or lead position, you will be responsible for demonstrating strong proficiency in core Java. Your role will involve hands-on experience in building scalable Java-based applications while showcasing a deep understanding of software design patterns, architectural principles, and various architectural styles such as microservices, monolithic, SOA, and cloud-native. Your expertise will be demonstrated through building and consuming web services like Rest, SOAP, and OData, as well as your experience with relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including data modeling. Additionally, your knowledge of software security principles will be crucial in incorporating security into design. Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and understanding of cloud architecture patterns will be essential for this role. Your responsibilities will also include working on CI/CD pipeline, docker, Kubernetes, and experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for designing and developing integration solutions, or similar integration platforms, is highly preferred. You should also possess the ability to handle and lead discussions with clients from a technical and architecture standpoint, as well as guide, mentor, and inspire development teams to foster a positive and productive environment.
