Java J2EE Web Application Engineer

As a skilled and experienced Java J2EE Web Application Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in application development and deployment, your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding business requirements, and ensuring the delivery of robust and scalable solutions. You will be responsible for designing and developing Java J2EE web applications using Spring Boot and/or Java based on business requirements. Your responsibilities will also include writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code, implementing and maintaining software functionalities, and developing and implementing JUnit test cases to ensure the reliability and robustness of the application. In addition, you will manage the deployment process of Java J2EE applications, configure and troubleshoot application servers, work closely with cross-functional teams, and create and maintain technical documentation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop Java J2EE web applications using Spring Boot and/or Java based on business requirements. - Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code. - Implement and maintain software functionalities to ensure the application meets quality standards. - Develop and implement JUnit test cases to ensure the reliability and robustness of the application. - Manage the deployment process of Java J2EE applications, on various environments. - Configure and troubleshoot application servers, ensuring seamless deployment and performance. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. - Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, deployment procedures, and code documentation. - Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the Spring Boot application. - Collaborate with QA engineers to develop and execute comprehensive test plans. - Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Java J2EE web application development. - Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Servlets, and other J2EE technologies. - Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, or WebSphere. - Strong understanding of web application architecture and design patterns. - Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. - Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN) and build tools (Maven, Gradle). - Knowledge of database systems (MYSQL, JDBC) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate). - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. - Strong collaboration skills. *Location:* Chennai, South India,
